Terms
In short
- Free covers one live or upcoming Board at a time, with no card. Pro is £29 per event or £149 a year, with nothing added, and refunds within 14 days.
- What you put on your Board is yours, and you’re responsible for it.
- We work hard to keep Boards up, and every Board says honestly when it can’t confirm it’s current.
Who these terms are with
These terms are between you and CueDuck, for your use of cueduck.com, its Boards, foyer screens and the organiser app. By using CueDuck you agree to them.
The free plan
Organisers can publish and run one live or upcoming Board at a time, for free. There’s no card to give and it isn’t a trial. The free plan stays as described on Pricing, whether or not you buy Pro.
Paying for Pro
You buy Pro from CueDuck. Stripe takes the payment: we never see or store your card. The prices on Pricing are what you pay, with no VAT added. Only a workspace’s owners can buy, change or cancel Pro.
An Event pass (£29, paid once) gives one event Pro from when you buy it until that event finishes, for events up to 14 days long. It isn’t a subscription. If you move the event, the pass moves with it.
Pro yearly (£149 a year) gives every event in the workspace Pro, and renews each year until you cancel. We email you seven days before it renews.
Refunds and cancelling
You can have a full refund within 14 days of any payment; for an Event pass, as long as its event hasn’t started. Reply to your receipt or email hello@cueduck.com. If an event is deleted before it starts, within those 14 days, we refund its pass automatically. If CueDuck fails during your event, tell us and we’ll refund its pass.
You can cancel Pro yearly at any time in Settings, under Plan. It stays until the end of the year you paid for, then the workspace goes back to Free. Nothing is deleted. If a renewal payment doesn’t go through, Stripe tries again for seven days; if it’s still unpaid, the workspace goes back to Free.
Deleting a workspace on Pro yearly cancels it at once. Outside the 14 days, the unused months aren’t refunded. Whenever Pro ends, Boards already published stay up until they finish.
Your account
You sign in with a link sent to your email, or with Google. Keep access to that email safe: anyone who can open it can sign in as you. You’re responsible for what happens in your workspace, including everything posted from it.
What you put on CueDuck
Your schedules, speakers and updates stay yours. You give us permission to store them and to show them on your Board, your foyer screen and to anyone with your Board’s address, for as long as the Board is available.
Only post what you have the right to share. Don’t use CueDuck for anything unlawful, misleading or harmful, to send spam, or to interfere with the service or other people’s Boards. We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules.
The same goes for logos and banners you upload: they stay yours, and you must have the right to use them. Anyone can report one shown on a Board, and we remove anything that breaks these rules.
It also goes for the files you add to sessions. They stay yours, or their speakers’; you must have the right to share them with your guests. Anyone with the Board can open them once the session starts, and can report one. We check each file when it’s added, but you’re responsible for what’s in it.
Availability
We work hard to keep every Board up to date and reachable, but we can’t promise it will never be interrupted. Every Board says when it last checked for changes, and says so when it can’t, so people are never shown an old version as if it were current.
Ending
You can stop using CueDuck at any time, and delete your account yourself in Settings or by emailing hello@cueduck.com. After an event finishes, its Board remains available for seven days, then closes.
Our responsibility
CueDuck is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren’t responsible for indirect losses, or for losses caused by information an organiser posts. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that the law doesn’t allow us to limit.
Changes, and the law
If we change these terms, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Questions go to hello@cueduck.com.
