Add slides and files to a session
With Pro, or an Event pass on the event, a session can carry up to three PDFs: slides, a handout, a reading list. Guests open them from the session on the Board.
Steps
- Open the event’s Schedule and choose a session. Files is under Description.
- Choose Add a PDF, or drop a file on the box. It’s added once it has uploaded and been checked. There’s nothing to save.
- The name guests see comes from the file’s name. Choose Rename to change it.
- Guests can open a session’s files from its start. Before that, the session says how many are coming and when: “2 files · from 10:15”.
- On your timetable, a paper clip marks each session that has files.
What can be added
PDFs only, up to 20 MB each, three per session. A file that’s password-protected, damaged or carries scripts is refused, and the Files field says why.
During and after the event
Files can be added, renamed and removed while the event is live, and afterwards until the Board closes, seven days after the event ends. Adding one during the event tells nobody. Add to Changes is offered if you want guests to know.
Who can open them
Anyone who can open your Board, from the session’s start. Files never appear on the foyer screen or on posters. Guests can report a file, and CueDuck removes anything that breaks the rules.
When they’re deleted
When you remove a file or its session, when you delete the event, and when the Board closes. Duplicate doesn’t copy files to the new event.
